Print The fatgeorge GeoCoder has been released, it takes your address information for DNN users, Active Social Users or Active Social Groups and provides you with the latitude and longitude information you need to allow you to display this information on a map or to carry out proximity searches and listings.
The GeoCoder is a backend process which will take your locations/addresses and geocode them, storing the resulting longitude & latitude values in a custom table in your DNN database.
You now have the data you need to allow you to display your information on a map.
Use the core DNN Map module or a 3rd party module such as Netism Map Extreme to bring your location based information to life.
Register at fatgeorge then try out the geocoded data at http://www.fatgeorge.co.uk/community.aspx
